A request to access your data is called a Subject Access Request (SAR). SARs are handled under DUAA’s “reasonable and proportionate” standard. There are no fees or charges for the first SAR but additional requests for the same data may be subject to an administrative fee.

When exercising any of the rights listed above, in order to process your request, we may need to verify your identity for your security. In such cases we will need you to respond with proof of your identity before you can exercise these rights.

The Centre for Christianity in Society uses a select number of third-party platforms to help us provide our services and communicate with our staff, volunteers, associates and clients.

Wix
Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. They provide us with many features including the ability to take payments for our events. They also gather information about how the site is used which we can utilise to improve our website and services. When you submit data through our website, the data is stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. MailChimp
MailChimp is an online marketing platform (operated by The Rocket Science Group, LLC). Most of our mass-emails are sent via this platform. As such, if you sign up for emails, or if you sign up for one of our events we will use this platform to contact you. Details of the kinds of information stored in MailChimp can be seen on our sign-up form. Alternatively, contact our communications team and they would be happy to discuss this further with you. We sometimes use Google Forms for registering events. We also use Google Analytics and Search Console to help us understand how our website is used, helping us improve our website and services.
