Be Prepared is our name for series of seminars run in churches that focus on specific questions about faith or specific issues we face in modern society.

Examples of issues we can address include:

  • Abortion and early life ethical issues

  • Artificial Intelligence

  • Atheism, humanism and other secular belief systems

  • Euthanasia and end of life ethical issues

  • Evidence for the resurrection

  • Gender identity and sexuality

  • The challenge of suffering

  • The uniqueness of Christ and

  • Understanding and engaging with other religions and cults

  • Why we can trust the Bible

If you invite us to deliver a series in your church, we will:

  • Work with you to set dates that work within your church calendar.

  • Agree with you the specific questions or issues you want us to address that are most relevant to the people you serve.

  • Match the topics to speakers from the Christianity in Society team who have the right expertise and experience speak to them.

  • Deliver the seminars with clarity and compassion, helping people to have a biblically faithful understanding and practical tools to make godly decisions and engage in wise discussions.

The seminars will last between one and two hours, depending on your needs, and will include group discussion and space for questions as well as an accessible talk with practical suggestions.

Our approach is always Christ-centred, gospel-shaped and Bible-based.

Here are some comments from people who have attended Be Prepared sessions in the past:

We were thankful for the time and space to talk with others and listen to Paul' Coulters biblical thoughts about tricky questions

Excellent sessions on difficult questions. Clear framework explained of how to address people’s challenging questions in clear, logical systematic ways.

Paul Coulter is an excellent communicator and teacher with valuable and current information to share on current issues affecting Christians. His breadth of knowledge shines through. Most of all his humility draws me to the fact that his work is driven by His love of God.
