 You knitted me together in my mother's womb
Psalm 139 v13
abortion in gospel perspective

Knitted Together will help you understand:

  • Current law on abortion in NI and how we got here;

  • God's design for unborn children as seen in Scripture and science;

  • The implications of abortion for society;

  • Why the 'hard cases' (rape/incest and fetal abnormalities) do not justify abortion;

  • How Christians can stand, serve and speak in response to abortion.

The Knitted Together content has been prepared by medic, pastor and theologian Dr Paul Coulter (Executive Director of CCS) .  It is rigorously fact-checked and thoroughly grounded in Scripture.  To see what principles we hold to on this issue, you can check out the Life Affirmation, which the Centre has adopted as its position on abortion.

Our standard format is a 40-minute talk followed by Q&A for 20 to 30 minutes.

We can tailor our presentation to your needs in terms of duration and age-appropriateness and we can present as part of a service or a stand-alone event. We find that Knitted Together works best on a Sunday or mid-week evening.

Our team of speakers is available to visit churches and youth groups across Northern Ireland.  To find out more about a speaker click on their picture or name for a link to their bio.
